The biggest issue of the 21st century

Most of the information that was in this article really surprised me. If children are always on the computer or online through their phone, when do they have time to do their schoolwork or even focus on what is happening in their life. This has pros and cons.

The cons are obvious. If someone is always on the computer, how do they have time to build into their own person. There is a lot in the media that can influence a child and it raises the question of rather a not a child can learn to simply be themselves if they are always being influenced by the media.

It could also be a positive thing. If a child is always on the computer you can assume that they are looking at productive information rather then information that is always negative. But according to this article, we can't assume that this is the case for all the children who is spending so much time with new technology.

I also believe it is also important for the parents to step in and actually spend productive time with their children. That is the first step to solving this issue.
